Terms of Payment
Projects are broken down into two stages: Design and Build. During the design phase,
60% of the retainer is due at Stage One, the Client Interview Process. An additional
25% is due at Stage Three, the Client Review Meeting. The final 15% is due at Stage Four,
Client Approval.
During the build phase, 100% of the plant budget is due prior to plant
purchases and at the time of the signed build contract.
An additional 50% retainer is due for the estimated hardscape construction.
A half-way point of the hardscape phase will be mutually agreed upon by the
client and EssentialSpace. Once mid-point has been achieved, a weekly payment
schedule will be established by dividing the remaining weeks of work into the
remaining balance.
